I have a Mac Mini 2010 server that I broke the logic board while doing some repair. The price that Apple wants to replace logic board is usurious, so that's a no. But am looking for some ideas about how to reuse the chassis - it's still a pretty aluminum chassis, must be some other use that this can be put to...

Has anyone tried for example modding another external hard drive and putting it into this as an external drive, etc? Any other ideas?

Just sell it as is, for parts.

I have one of these OWC NewerTech stands for my mini. Whenever my mini finally dies I plan to keep using it as a decoration in the stand (with the Apple logo pointing the right way). :D
