Ideas for watching TV on iMac

Hey I've been looking into the idea of using my 24" iMac as a nice TV every now and then. I know they sell products out there like eyeTV by Elgato but I've read some poor reviews. Any ideas on solid conversion products to take cable and watch it on your tv or even HD?

Tons of threads about this. I personally use the ElGato EyeTV 250 and absolutely love it.
