After several days of struggling with errors on .mac and using iWeb, I'm starting to consider other hosting.
iWeb is great for my purposes and publishes to a folder just fine, its publishing to .mac where it is failing. There are a myriad of things to try at Apple's support site and i've tried all of them except trying to publish outside of my network , and nothing on my network has changed at all. There are apparently more than a few .mac users out there experiencing the same issue.
So understanding that if a host has FTP, I can publish to their site sing iWeb, I am also looking at rapidweaver and sandvox for publishing.
My main question here is how do you wade through the myriad of hosting provider options? I use Godaddy for my domains and some email, but i am not sure i want to invest more with them. Lowest price is not a huge factor for me.
I see a number of companies that market as "mac hosting" or "mac friendly". There is even an interesting one that does Mac mini colocation called macminicolo.net. Another one is Machighway. Does anyone have any experience with these companies?
Thanks
