I have a 1.1.3 UK unlocked/activated/jailbroken 16gb iPhone and have installed iDialer v2.0 on to it as I wanted to be able to more intuitively search for contacts when dialling, but, so far, I haven't been able to get it to work?

I installed it fine, and it appears in my uninstall list, however, nothing seems to happen?? Am i missing something?

Thanks

I finally figured it out ... it's to do with permissions on the app?!?

You need to connect to your phone using WinSCP and then navigate to /Applications, find iDialer.app (it looks like a directory), then right mouse-click and set the permissions to 0755 (and set it to recursively set the permissions below it). Then switch off and switch back on your iPhone ... and hey presto, iDialer appears!!

Bit convoluted, but works! Don't know why they can't build the permissions into the installer?!?

Let me know how you get on...
