Actually it looks like Buschmaster is a separate developer from what I can tell. He has his own web page and separate application there.
I can't imagine playing iDice after watching that video. 1026 Development would probably be better off making a $5-$8 version with better graphics and animation and abandoning this version altogether. Their Dots game which hasn't even been approved already has a free competitor called Carrie's Dots.
This should be a warning shot across the bow of would-be iPhone app developers -- copying an existing game is only going to work if you are competitive. If people are giving away similar quality apps for free, you're doomed. If you're being a copy-cat developer, at least implement something unique and imaginative that will pique interest.
