iDisk question

Hello,

I've just recently opened a MobileMe account.

I only intended to use it for the Gallery so my sister could look at family photos and video. She uses my username and password to log in.

But, I was just wondering about the iDisk section.

Are the HOME folders only accessible to someone with my username and password?

Hi,

Yes the iDisk folders are only accessible to someone with your username and password. The only folder that is accessible without your details is the public folder which you can password protect with a different password if you wish.

For the gallery, you don't even need to give your sister your details. Send her to http://gallery.me.com/[MM Username] She will then be able to see the photos. i believe you can even set a password protect on this.

But about the gallery, I prefer my sister using my login. Better than a password that way.
