I have an idisk and access it through my laptop and desktop, sometimes through the web (just to read files). The iDisk itself (which I take to be the one I access on the web) and the two iDisk mirrored files (on the laptop and desktop) are now not consistent. I'm not sure how this happened. Is this a common problem? And what do I do now?

Thanks!

Do you mean the files are inconsistent or the size of your iDisk?

Hi, I'm having a similar problem. I tried contacting apple, but lost patience with them. I'd really like it to work in a more trustworthy way.

Since I also only use the idisk through the OS and only use the web for occasional read only, I thought a strategy might be to:
1. backup from whatever machines have local mirrors, identify which files are the most current
2. turn off all the mirrors
3. somehow blank out the idisk and copy everything back on via one computer

Any other suggestions, anyone know how to start fresh with an idisk?
