iDisk Sync: on or off?

I just found this iDisk sync button on my Mobile Me on my laptop that will allow me to access my files when I am not connected to the Internet.

My question is, if I save files on it, will it update them once I connect to the Internet?

What's the main difference in this?

Yeah, next time you sync with MobileMe it will sync any changes.

unfortunately you cant select which folders to keep a local copy of and which solely on the cloud, like dropbox, shame...
