I have a 6s running iOS 10.2. On weekends, my phone is often on but idle for hours at a time. The battery, however, is constantly draining.

What settings can I change to reduce the drain?

Great link. Thanks. The answer turned out to be that having the home screen up all the time was the major battery drain. I put it on Auto-Lock when I'm not charging now.
You mean the phone screen was on all the time somehow while you weren't using it?

Yes, that's the way I use it--or did. The phone is right next to the charger cord, so when the battery gets low I simply plug it in. When I'm away from home, it's turned off (but not powered down) most of the time.
