I'm currently still using iLife 04 and have a question about iDVD in iLife 05.

Does it support an aspect ratio of 16:9 ? Or jst 4:3 like iDVD 4. Reason being I'm currently sending some DVDs to people who will almost certainly be watching them on a widescreen TV, and I'm worried that the top and bottom of my menus might get cropped.

If iMovie can go widescreen, then logically iDVD should be too. Right ?

It's worth considering to wait as iLife 06 should be out soon.

I'm surprised it isn't out already - I just bought 05 a few weeks ago and therefore 06 should've been released the following Tuesday

Actually, Apple seems ot be one of the few companies that can attach the correct year to a product. Some companies think the first half of
the calendar year is the right time to release a product that includes next year as part of the name. And this is for prducts that get updated every year.

Or do they think that we'll pick product 2006 over their competitor 2005 since calling it 2006 makes it seem newer?
