Well I was just wondering, if i have a High Definiton Camera, import it into iMovie and then to iDVD and burn the movie... Will it be High Def? Can I play it on regular DVD players on a high def TV? and will the new macs (Powerbooks and iMacs) be able to play these High Def DVD's? or Movies in True High Def?

Not quite since iDVD is not (yet) HD compatible. And you would of course need a Blu-Ray burner (because that is the HD DVD that Apple is backing) and a Blu-Ray DVD player to play them on.

If you have an HD camera, you can edit the movie in HD and then hook your Mac up to an HD TV and play them from there. Until HD DVD players become available that is pretty much the only way to really view HD content.
