When I burn an NTSC DVD at home (I'm living / using Region 1) using iDVD, is it Region 1 or Region 0 (region free?)

Thanks

Just wanna ask...

Is there any way to prevent iDVD from limiting the number of times that i can change DVD regions? I think there is a hack innit?

Some has mentioned to use VLC instead... but it doesnt seem to work for me. If there isnt any hack available, is there any other player i can use instead?

You seem to be mixing up iDVD and DVD Player. iDVD is for making (region-free) DVDs, and DVD Player is for playing home-made and commercial DVDs. The region protection is done in hardware, and patching DVD Player won't help. You can get hardware patches, but I can't go into details as I believe that they are illegal in the US.
