A couple tiny white specks on my iPad screen... Thought they were surface knicks but when you tilt it at an angle, there is a "duplicate" speck directly underneath it, like a shadow.

That means it's underneath the display???

Not if the surface speck is casting a shadow down onto the under layer of the screen. Under a light, look somewhat tangentially at speck and tilt iPad back and forth. It top speck moves less than bottom one it's a surface issue.
