I may be completely wrong here because I'm speculating, but is the core shutdown issue perhaps related to Apple using a special chipset that nobody had used before?
If Apple moves to the new standard chips will they have more technical information available so that overheating is prevented?
Also, will the newer intel graphics processor, the 4500hd be able to play hd videos from itunes flawlessly?
