I run, use EarSkinz to keep EarPods from falling out. Will AirPods fall out too?
[doublepost=1491765597][/doublepost]Just checked EarSkinz website and EarSkinz 3 (for AirPods) are coming soon.

The AirPods literally have the same physical design As the Earpods. So if you have success with the EarPods not falling out, the AirPods likely would not fall out as well.

EarPods and AirPods have the best design ever. Why no one came along before and made earphones to sit in your ear rather than pressed in I'll never know. So, so comfortable yet secure.

Not 100% sure, but I think same physical design isn't true as the AirPods seem to be a little thicker. I owned the AirPods for a few days (gave them back because of TERRIBLE noise / interference sound while doing calls) and can say that they did hold a little bit better in my ears than the EarPods. While the EarPods fell out of my ear even with normal walking (maybe also because of the cable), the AirPods did not. However, would probably still always at least have the feeling that they fall out any second while running.

There is an easier solution, buy a pair of sports earphones instead. When I want lightweight earpieces, that's not falling off or cause ear pain,I prefer a pair of old Koss porta-pro. Works great for me,in most situations when I'm not in noisy areas.

EarSkinz for AirPods are now shipping, so placed order for set at same time I ordered my AirPods.

How do you recharge the AirPods with a skin on? Do you have to remove it before putting them in the charger?

For me it was different. The reason that my EarPods would fall out is because the wire would catch on things and weigh them down. I actually took an old pair and cut the wire off and tested them. They don't fall out for me so I bought the AirPods. I haven't had them fall out once and I never used EarPods due to them falling out.

Just my experience.

The EarPod shape feels like it was literally made for my ears. Up until I used them I always felt like the squishy tips were edging my way out of my ears slowly. But as far as I'm aware they're identical, though the EarPods wires can pull a little obviously.

every earbud that pushes into my ears oozes out. even custom fitted moulded ones don't fit as tight as they should so they end up sounding better because they fit like they were intended instead of half hanging out of my ears.

the earpods would all out of my ears but the AirPods never do.
I wonder if the wires are what make the Earpods tend to fall out. The weight and the swinging, snagging etc.
I have given up using them as I spend more time adjusting them than have them just "sit" properly… gym/exercise use is a nightmare.
That is what has made me hesitate about buying the Airpods.
If only I could try before I buy. :)

That's my theory as well.
