Let's say I restore my iPhone 3gs, put in my brother's att 3g sim card in it, connect my "like new" iphone to itunes, go to the process and I'm done. Afterwards I can now jailbreak my iphone again and then unlock it. After its unlocked, i pop in my tmobile sim card.
Can you answer this: Has my iPhone been hactivated?
Also, if i did this process, will i stop having trouble with my YouTube app and get push notifications now without downloading the "Push fix" app from cydia, because i've noticed my battery has been reduced.
Also,

Thanks:apple:

Assuming you are using blackra1n, it will notice that your phone is officially activated with an AT&T SIM and will not hacktivate it. You will remain legitimately activated. If you use PwnageTool, whether you will be hacktivated depends on what option you choose when creating the custom firmware.

A heads-up: discussion of pirated/cracked apps (or how to back them up) is not allowed on this forum. You should edit your post before a Mod hears of it.

Hactivation is a software activation without an official sim. The answer is no.

Push notifications should work. You Tube, who knows ?

We don't cover Installous apps here.

Are there any benefits for my iphone to be activated the right way, that is, with an att sim card?
