Math Lesson
If you bought a phone in the fall, let's assume the fall is November, and a new phone comes out in June of the following year. November to June is 7 months. Assume a = 24 and b = 7 (the length of your contract) then solve for c: a-b=c What's that? Oh, it's 17.
What happens if you just got an iPhone in the all? You can buy a new one at subsidized pricing in as little as 11 months (often AT&T will grant an upgrade 18 months into your contract) or in as much as 24 months.
E-mail Steve Jobs and tell him you're going to be super mad if a new phone comes out. Let us know how it works out for you.
Alternatively, you can take the mad ass profit you're trying to make off your iPads to finance an out of contract upgrade to your iPhone that may or may not be here by June.
