Hello. I'm on iOS 5.1.1, I dont have any plans to update to iOS 6.x.

So, If I do Jailbreak on iOS 5.1.1, and in the future I need to remove the Jailbreak, iTunes will let me to "Restore" to iOS 5.1.1, or It need to be the lastest iOS version avaliable (6)?

Ty

Do you have SHSH blobs saved for any iOS 5 firmware? If so, then you will always be able to keep restoring to that firmware using the limera1n exploit. Otherwise, you will be forced to upgrade to the latest firmware the next time you restore.

Open cydia and click TSS center, what iOS versions of shsh blobs does it say you have?

I don't have Jailbreak right now... I'd done it in iOS 4.x only.

iOS 5 no, I dont. But if I jailbreak and save my SHSH blobs in iOS 5.1.1, It's okay to restore to 5.1.1 in the future using this exploit?

iFaith can likely save your 5.1.1 SHSH if you are currently on 5.1.1
With that saved, you should be able to restore back to 5.1.1 as often as needed.

Ok thanks! But its for Windows, I'm Mac user =p

And another question, wich JB tools you guys think is more stable? Absinthe or redsn0w? I know dev-team since it was born, so I know it's a great tool, but what about Absinthe?

Are you able to gain access to a windows computer and dump your shsh blob for 5.1.1 using iFaith? This'll help you greatly! You can try using redsn0w to dump your blobs but last I heard, many people had trouble with it

I personally would prefer absinthe but as you have a device that has a bootrom exploit, I'd say redsn0w is better since it supports a wider range of iOS version jailbreaks (for older devices)
