Hello, I'm wondering if anyone knows if I public beta test iOS 15 on my iPhone, will my info still sync to my iOS 14 and macOS Big Sur devices? For example, if my iPhone is running iOS 15 public beta and my iPad is running iPadOS 14 and my Mac is running macOS Big Sur, will my Notes and Calendar, and Contacts apps continue to sync between them?

This is the first year I'm planning to join the public beta (when it's available) and I was wondering how syncing worked with devices still on "older" operating systems.

And does Apple allow public beta users to downgrade back to the most current iOS 14?

I’ve been wondering the same thing. I wanna try out iPadOS 15 beta on my iPad Pro 2018, before I buy the 2021 version in a month or two

It "should." As long as every device is connected to the same icloud account, it will flow, unless a bug is produced in 15 during the development phase that breaks it somehow.

I can tell you that running 15b1 on an ipad, everything syncs between it and my iphone 12 pro running 14.4.2 without any issues that I have noticed.

And beware, I'm on dev beta 2, and a bug started around a week after being on beta 1 of Find My not working on any of my devices. I put my iPhone 12 Pro Max on developer beta, and my find my is broken on another iPhone, 2 iPad pro's and a MacBook Pro. I've sent in dev. feedback, also. Can't use my airtags any longer, find friends or devices. I can still use find my on iCloud.com, but it's severely broken for some people. I've never had a bug from a beta affect other devices that are not on a beta, and AppleCare will not help, even with the devices that are not on beta. Just a heads up. (I usually keep my beta devices on a different Apple ID, and I forgot to this time, which is also an option if you want to try a beta, and hopefully not mess up all your devices.)
