If I Purchase MS Office through the App Store, who provides tech support?

Hi

I currently have an Office subscription through MS. When it expires, I am considering renewing through Apple. Who then would provide tech support, if I had a question ? MS if Apple?

Are there any advantages of switching from MS to Apple for my Office 365 purchase? One advantage, I can see of purchasing through the App Store is the 3% cash back if I used my Apple Card. Any other advantages or disadvantages I am not considering?

Microsoft owns the suite, so they provide support regardless of where you purchased it from. If you have an Apple Card then purchasing from the app store is what you should do in order to get cash back.

Yes, but you would need to cancel the subscription with MS and then start a new one from the Apple Store. There's no way to switch without doing it that way as far as I know.

This is the same for all apps in the App Store. Apple provides support for the purchasing process. The software vendor/developer/whoever (in this case Microsoft) provides technical support for the product.
