if i purchased 2 wifi, can i still purchase a 3g with same card...

Hi, guys I purchased two ipads for son and myself, we love them, but wife loves mine also (why o why did I load an episode of “glee” on my ipad), so my question? Is two the max, can I still buy a 3G?
I used a debit card for last two purchases (cash) can I still use same card? Can I use a different card?
