So, I was about to put my 8GB iPhone on Ebay when I thought about this...if the iPhone breaks while in the next person's hands and they take it to the Apple store, will my name show up on the warranty? Are there any legal percussions to this happening?

If I unlock and sell my iPhone, will my name still be attached to the warranty?

You're not going to wind up with a fine or jail time for having your name attached to an unlocked phone, if that's what you're worried about.
