I'm wondering if people will be able to order like say on June 25 or June 26, so they can take delivery of it on June 29th.

I remember Apple doing that with Operating System Releases.

I asked that question to the online Apple store and was told no, you cannot order it until the 29th. I was thinking the same as you, online store would let people order early for delivery on the 29th, but no such luck.

Generally, comapnies on take orders early for release day shipping on products without any real supply contraints, but for something like this(or other hot items like game consoles) it's normal for them not to start taking orders until launch.
