Just got a 16" M1 Pro for the screen real estate. My present MBA has been having issues installing WoW and if I had to guess it's maybe because I dig into the Finder when I uninstall and delete more blizzard/battlenet files I can find. Last I check other games seem to install so perhaps it's hanging on some file it can't find for WoW anymore? Regardless would migrating files during install carry those issues to the new computer as well or does it not copy over files like that?

And yes I've used the "scan/repair issues" feature in Battle.net but it doesn't seem to find anything.

Maybe, maybe not? Try migrating and see what happens, if the problem moves across just wipe the machine and start fresh.

Nevermind already did everything the long way. Still doesn't install, apparently there's something with WoW and Battle.net app on M chips that just doesn't work right and you have to do a bunch of stuff to get it to start downloading. I think it has something to do with an Agent file, which I noticed was still open when I did benchmarks and it copied itself a bunch of times and made my benchmarks take twice as long and cut my results by like 90% lol Blizzard things I guess.

But it's done now so this thread can be deleted, thanks for the response either way:)
