If one call is on hold or incoming, and one call active, both calls always end when one ends (iOS 16.1.1 bug).

I think this is the biggest bug I've ever had on any phone:

1. If I'm on the phone and someone calls me, the call I am already on will end when the ringing for the incoming call stops.

2. If I am on a call and have another call on hold, the call on hold will end when the active call ends (and vice versa).

Both of these issues occur with great frequency for me on iOS 16.1.1. I would like to know if anyone else here has experienced this, and if a more recent iOS does anything to resolve the bug?

It might be that only a FaceTime call ending can end other active calls.

I've been experiencing a similar bug for some time, even after switching from 16.5 to 16.6. Trying to make a FaceTime call and the receiver gets two different call sounds. When she accepts the call, the call ends automatically, but sometimes it continues to ring for 30 seconds. It takes us two or three trials before it works.

I thought first it was due to making the call from macOS (latest version) while also having my iPhone on (because of continuity camera?). And also the receiver having both iPadOS and iOS (but not the latest iOS on her side, as she is on an iPhone 6s). So now only using the iPhone but the bug persists. It's chaos trying to make a FaceTime call from the iMessage app.
