What Macintosh do you guys think would be in the back of Jerry's apartment if they were still making new episodes?

Haha, one of the more interesting posts I've seen in a while.

The Mac used in the last episodes was a 20th Anniversary, wasn't it? So I'd probably go with an iMac, just because all his other Macs have been desktops. But then again, I could see him being a MBP type of guy.

Either an Air or a MB portability is key for a writer on the go.

definitely an iMac jerry wouldnt be bothered with anything less awesome.. and Kramer would probably try to borrow it and then the episode goes on to see him try stealing it for some pyramid scheme of his

Very awesome thread for a die-hard Seinfeld fan. It would probably indeed be an iMac. The very funny thing is that in all the episodes I don't believe he was ever shown actually using any of his Macs.

I love Seinfeld!
So much better than most comedies, and far, far batter than Friends.

But back on topic: must be a 24' iMac. Maybe occasionally replaced by a Mac mini hooked up to a 42" Plasma TV and MacBook Pro 17" hooked up to a 30" ACD :)

I think he'd have an iMac - simple yet powerful, it would be a smart choice for Jerry, and would serve him for many years to come.

I think if he went with a portable it would end up in Kramer's apartment all the time.

Edit: Mac Pro would be over-kill for his simple writing/email/web browsing needs.

Definitely a desktop of some sort, most likely an imac. Although I think it would be the smallest screen size. Otherwise it would dominate the background scenery.

I was thinking the same thing - def would have to be the 17 inch.

EDIT: Opps - 20 inch

iMac or a Mac Mini with 23 inch display based on the size of his desk. He could probably have his own little apple collection if he kept all the computers used on the show.

Awesome thread. :)

I just recently began re-watching the series starting with Season One. I watch an episode or two as I lay in bed just before I go to sleep.

It would definitely be an iMac, but it wouldn't be the 24" because it would attract too much attention to the background. I would say a 17" iMac.

Seinfield # 1 show, but # 2

I would have to say my second favorite show was Everybody Loves Raymond. I wish they were both still on TV.

What about a mac mini.
