Down south
Daughter selling ipp. She turned off find my iPad but forgot to log out of iCloud.

Do we needa set back up so she can log out, or is there a way to log her out from another device?

I believe (so not 100% certain) that Find My is what prevents a person erasing, reactivating, or using your iPad. Your Apple ID and password are not required for those things. So as long as you turned off Find My iPad, you should be okay 😊

You can log in to iCloud.com and go into settings and remove the device from your account as well (if it's not already). I agree with the post above that as far as the iPad is concerned, it's ok. I always make sure the devices are removed from the account as well.

Therefore, signing out of iCloud deregisters your iOS device from Apple servers, and halts the synchronization of data between your iOS device and Apple servers. Moreover, all the data stored in iCloud will remain intact, and iCloud would continue to sync data on other devices that share that same iCloud account.Jun 21, 2021
