think --> thick

Would you prefer white bezel instead of black?

Black is usually a classy color, but this time, it just makes iPad ugly.

A white bezel would make the screen appear darker, causing people to unnecessarily increase the screen brightness and decrease the battery life. And I think it would be ugly.

So people hate this bezel but don't mind the bezel on the iPhone? I mean a 3.5" screen has a damn 1/2"' bezel on the top and bottom and approx 1/4" bezel on each side vs 3/4" bezel all sides of a 10" screen.

Why do I even need a bezel on an iPhone? I don't need to hold it with any finger on the screen at all. I guess I missed that uproar with the iPhone's launch.

It's simple.

The bezel does not make the iPhone ugly. However, it does make the iPad very ugly.

With the bezel being so thick, they should have put a four way pad on it,
especially as gaming will suck without a keypad...

Swiping the screen to turn pages in eBooks may look good, but it would be easier to keep your finger on a button...
