So I’m going on 2 years + with my iPad Pro 11” I’m impress3d by the M1 chip which is great. But I’m more concerned about RAM 8GB LPDDR5 I mean my Note 20 Ultra 5G has 12GB of Samsung own LPDDR5 RAM. While my iPad Pro 11” is here with 4GB.

But the real start of the show would be the USB-C port or I hope a Thunderbolt 4 port if there’s a 2021 iPad Pro 11”

Display wise. It gets more complicated I don’t care what display type is use as long as 120hz ProMotion is kept either OLED or MiniLED.

And in what practical situation do you notice the memory deficit on the iPad versus your LG? You cannot really compare like that directly on such different platforms and circumstances. Android devices in particular have for a while now also added unnecessarily much memory for no reason other than marketing at the cost of power efficiency, meaning the device will often try and evict information from RAM anyway to turn offf the memory chips to save on power.

And the M1 chip has nothing at all to do with iPads at this time, let alone a two year old one which came out well before the M1 was a thing.

Also, what would Thunderbolt 4 really do for you that Thunderbolt 3/USB 4 does not achieve, on an iPad specifically. I ask because my money is on USB 4, not Thunderbolt 4 for the next iPad Pro

Sure, TB4 is a must cause we all love to connect external stuff to tablets as the main use case.

Typical Alex post, spec sheet bla with no relation to real life, or products.

If the next iPad Pro does not have Mini-LED, will it be even more of a failure?

Does your Note having more RAM affect your iPad usage?
