If the old style iPod nano is unavailable,will I get the new one when I purchase MBP?

Do you think they will gimme a new Nano if the old style is sold out when I purchase MBP with free iPOD deal?

ANyone know of any store that is sold out of the old style Nano?

I'm fairly positive that the free iPod deal only extends to the models that were out at the start of the deal.

Newp, 'fraid not. All you need to do is read the [updated] terms and conditions of the rebate -- clearly states new iPods not eligible. I'm sure they've set plenty aside for you

I went to the Apple store today to check out the new nanos... awesome! I asked about the rebate and was told only for the existing stock of old nanos. The store person even said that when they run out of the old stock, the customer is out of luck.
