If There are DNS Servers for both iPV4 & iPV6 Which Does Windows Use?

Hello Mac friends (and Windows for gaming and diagnostics friends).

I'd like to only use iPV6 DNS servers (manually entered using Cloudfare's DNS servers) if that's a good idea but if there DNS values for iPV4 as well does Windows 10 automatically switch between iPV4 and iPV6? If yes, should I remove the iPV4 and switch it back to Automatic if I only want to use the latest which iPV6?

I don't know if you have special needs doing this. v6 only or v6/v4 mixed DNS won't make a noticeable difference.

IPv6 DNS can resolve IPv4 websites. v4 DNS can resolve v6 websites as well. It's the software and your OS components decide if they want to use v4 or v6.

Some ISPs have slower speeds on their IPv6 networks.

I suggest using Cloudflare's official guide to configure if you don't have special requirements.
