What will the title be called? Ultra-portable macbook? I think Apple would make some sort of clever idea with it. Also, what will the title be called right under the screen where mbp's say "MacBook Pro?" Just a curious questionnnnnn

----> Macbook
-------->Macbook Pro
------------->Macbook Ultra
----------------->Ah crap I got ripped off buying this damn thing

Maybe just "the new 13-inch MacBook Pro."

MacBook Nano, Lite, Mini etc. don't lend themselves marketing wise to sounding better than a MacBook. This is supposed to be a smaller factor MBP, right? Not a "Lite" version of a MacBook.

Anything "Ultra" might be confusing ("why get a MacBook Pro when you can get a MacBook ULTRA!!!"..)

The problem is MacBook Pro is already such a mouthful. If they still used "PowerBook" then I think something like "PowerBook Mini" would be more viable, whereas something like "MacBook Pro Lite"? I don't see it...

The Crapbook.

Not to get at this or anything but by making the MB/MBP any smaller we as a user suffer, i mean look at all the issues you can think of by cramming everything in a smaller space, please dont take offense to this but the smaller and lighter these notebooks/laptops might be nice for some people but they are going to come with loads of problems, having a small laptop might be good but in practicality how is it useful to have a laptop with a 10" screen lets say. Its just getting OTT.

Holy sentence structure, Batman!

I don't expect it to have a 10" screen. I expect it to essentially be a MacBook done properly: there's a lot that can be trimmed down on the MB - screen bezel, weight, thickness... wouldn't even be hard to do. Add a LED matte screen, illuminated keyboard (fw800? full DVI? 128mb geforce?), in a lighter Alu enclosure -- done. There we have a 13" MacBook Pro.

Maybe they should take some inspiration from Toshiba, make it the Macbook Pro M9-3G15K :p
