I would say that AT&T would always get the new iPhone before Verizon does. It makes no sense why Apple would give a new version to VZW first.
So here is what i think could happen if Verizon gets the iPhone and it would be 1 of 2 things.
Apple announces iPhone 4 for Verizon and also announces that AT&T will have a 6 month Exclusive on any new Model first afterwhich VZW gets it.
Or AT&T and Verizon get iPhones on the same day.

I would say that Apple is introducing a CDMA iPhone 4 at mid-cycle with a new iPhone in June that comes in both CDMA and GSM versions.
Don't worry, Apple isn't going to **** up their entire cycle because they introduce another carrier.

No. It will not be a new iPhone. If anything, it will be a CDMA version of the iPhone 4. Verizon could possibly get it in January like the rumors suggest, or it won't happen until WWDC 11', where both carriers could receive the fifth-generation iPhone at the same time.Updated iPhone 4

but but.. but.. but... what about Cricket!?
No one on Cricket or MetroPCS would pay $500+ to get an iPhone on Cricket... well maybe a drug dealer or two but that's about it.
I doubt that the updates will be staggered like that. The new phone is supposed to have one of those new dual mode GSM + CDMA chips in it correct? That way it'll work on all the carriers without having to build two different models.
If iPhone comes to Verizon in January mid cycle things will not change for an iPhone 5 in June 2011 for all carries. I would not expect Apple to change the iPhone 4 design just for Verizon in the US.Updated iPhone 4

Can't wait for all you people that are going to jump ship from ATT in January pay an ETF to go to Verizon for an iPhone 4 and a few months later an iPhone 5 comes out. This will be fun!
