If you leave the Apple ecosystem aside: AirPods Pro or other brands? What do you recommend?

First of all, I know this is the AirPod forums but I am looking for people who compaired the AirPods Pro to other premium TWS earbuds.

I am looking for earbuds with ANC and transparency mode for occasional use (main use in the gym), only a few hours in the week. I don't listen to music very often.

Many people are saying that the Pros are very good, but you can get better sound from other brands. I only have my iPhone, I don't care about multidevice connection etc.

A while ago I had AirPods 2 for some time, the sound was fine. Now I'm drawn to the Pro (or Pro 2 of) but on my list are products like the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3, the Bowers & Wilkins PI7 and some Jabras.

I don't care so much about the price, but when I can save 100 bucks and have better sound, why not. I just don't know if people just blindly buy Airpods because they use other Apple products and don't even look at other brands.

At the moment for me the best are the sony Wf-1000xm4 and they are cheaper.

You can hear the different earbuds, each person likes a different type of equalization, the best thing is that you listen to them to see which one suits you best.

This may not matter to you or many people, but I like and am so used to the spatial audio and head tracking thing that when it's missing, it's noticeable. To me it's worth the extra $100 and trumps some other brand's possible marginally better sound.

Sony has the same. They just call it „360 Reality Audio“. Tidal supports it for example

I thought the Technics AZ60 were great sounding. ANC was solid and call quality was better than the AirPods Pro 1 on test.
