I know many pre-ordered from Amazon some time ago in order to get their beta key. As of yesterday they now have a release date listed. You may have received an email notification of this. Why is this important? Without a shipping date Amazon doesn't usually list it's "Free Release Date Shipping" option. You just have the standard options listed and it would be SHIPPED ON RELEASE DAY and you'd get it days later.

What to do? Go to your Amazon account and check your open orders. Next to your SC2 pre-order you should have an "Options" drop down box (something to that affect. From there you can choose "Change shipping option" and choose the Free Release Day Shipping option. This will ensure you get the game on launch day.

Ask me how I know this! (hint, ordered a game so early that option wasn't there and I got the game later in the week - lesson learned!!)

Happy gaming.

eeeeeeeeeeeeew

ill have to read that again more carefully but any post with the words "get the game on launch day" can't be bad :p

Thanks for the tip!

Edit: Eeexcept it didn't work for me. Maybe because of international shipping. Phoey. Oh well.

Not sure if I'll pre-order it or not, I don't exactly know where I'll be living in July, so I might not have an address for UPS to ship it too :p

I could have said "on release day" but not sure it would be much better. :D

Yeah, I know Amazon does this in the US but I have no idea what offers they have on their various International sites and I'm certain they won't free ship from the US store to International addresses.

Awesome tip! Just went into my Amazon account and changed shipping speed to "Release-Date Delivery". And I just got my beta key this morning, now all I need is for the beta download to finish and my life is complete LOL!
