Why is that? Are you all jumping to the app store to buy it or what? For the past few weeks I checked, there it is...iFart Mobile as the #1 paid app. The top free apps vary with interesting games usually. Kinda sad and immature IMO. When the next gen iPhone is announced, SJ should bring the developer on stage to show the improvements that iFart Mobile has on the new advanced hardware. I'm not gonna pay $1 for something I can do perfectly fine myself.....

You're paying $2,000+ over two years to do something you can do perfectly fine yourself, you know... Just go to people's houses to talk to them.

If it stays there much longer, I'll have lost all faith in Apple as a company.

It's all those people that got their phone at Wal-Mart, you know those people......LOL:D

If that is what people want on their phone then why do you care. You don't have to put it on your phone. I actually find the app quite funny. Maybe I am immature but farting is still funny to me no matter how old I get. Did you have a whoopi cushion as a kid? This is no different IMO. Its just a really advanced version of the whoopi cushion.

Farting is still funny o me. iFart is a riot.

Cmon your out with friends and someone drops one. Who doesn't laugh....

Says less about Apple than about its customers. The people who have iPhones and iPod Touch's are the ones buying thousands of these every day!

Why are you (or your friends, schoolmates, coworkers, etc.) doing this?

.

we should all think together and choose one $0.99 app that looks good and then have everybody on MacRumors (who wants to participate) buy it. Then it will go up on the top apps list until it gets close to the top. Then other people will see it and buy it. Soon, iFart will be off the list.
:D

Sounds good to me! So since you brought it up, if you'll forgive the promotion...

If you're looking for a sound player but want a lot more than just farts, 100sounds actually has 200 sounds, with about 300 planned for the next update (any day now). Yes, it includes some farts, but a lot of useful sounds too! And since it's hovering around #36 overall and #7 in Entertainment, it has a decent chance at rising to the top, with your help!

In return, send us a video showing how you use 100sounds, and get your choice of numerous valuable giveaways I picked up at the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas (I write for iPhone Life Magazine, so vendors gave me dozens of iPhone cases, headsets, etc.!) We're also giving away NoTie T-shirts!

Not bad for a $0.99 app! Act now because once we get a critical mass of videos, we'll move to a weekly contest, but right now, EVERY video submission from a MacRumors forum member gets a prize! U.S. only (outside U.S. gets a virtual iTunes $10 gift card)
