Teardown for the new iPad Air should come out tomorrow

The only oddity I noticed (no NFC support in Apple specs) is the NXP 100VB27 NFC controller in Step 8.

Maybe it’s part of A12 phone package of components kept for design simplicity.

edit: It’s also included in the 11” iPad Pro so not simply a reuse of A12 phone parts.
