Looks like the folks at iFixit decided to tear down the surface. They give it a 1 out of 10 for repairability. I'm sure for the typical consumer this is a non issue. Still its nice to see the innards :D

Be curious to see if MS gets dinged for this the way Apple has in the past. Is Microsoft part of planned obsolescence too now? :p

I doubt it, just because I think the surface is not going to be anywhere near as popular as the iPad, in fact I think many other android tablets are probably outselling the surface.

I'm not against the surface pro, if it was just a bit cheaper I could be tempted to buy one but not at 900 dollars

Biggest thing about this is the use of a mSata drive. Technically you should be able to upgrade this to a 256 GB mSata.
