Looks like the folks at iFixit decided to tear down the surface. They give it a 1 out of 10 for repairability. I'm sure for the typical consumer this is a non issue. Still its nice to see the innards

Be curious to see if MS gets dinged for this the way Apple has in the past. Is Microsoft part of planned obsolescence too now?

I doubt it, just because I think the surface is not going to be anywhere near as popular as the iPad, in fact I think many other android tablets are probably outselling the surface.

I'm not against the surface pro, if it was just a bit cheaper I could be tempted to buy one but not at 900 dollars

Biggest thing about this is the use of a mSata drive. Technically you should be able to upgrade this to a 256 GB mSata.
