I have tried a few settings on the iflicks program to try and get movies to my ipad. I just waited about 2 hours to get a movie converted using the Apple TV settings. However, this did not work, and now I have a white screen and no audio for the entire movie. Any idea how to do this?

I have tried handbrake and iflicks with no success. Iflicks looks like it should work easily, but nope. All of my movies turn out white, some with, but most without music.

I've used iFlicks and Handbrake with no problems on tons of movies/tv shows using the Universal setting.

You can also try opening in Quicktime and see if you can export it there but it'll take forever. FWIW, iFlicks is PAINFULLY slow on some conversions (like MKV) so I usually stick to Handbrake.

It sound like you don't have Perian installed.
