iGlasses & Google Talk/Hangout plugin in Yosemite slow

Not sure what the cause of this is but I'm using the latest version of OS X Yosemite DP5 (I think), and its laggy and freezing my computer after awhile. Not sure if the issue is with iGlasses or the google talk plugin when using Google Hangouts.

My camera will stutter and won't be as smooth, and randomly freezes at time, and eventually bring my computer down to a crawl or even sometimes lock it up completely and I have to do a cold restart.

Anyone else have this issue?

Anyone else know of an alternative app that does the same thing thats possibly better than this one?

I haven't found anything that seems to work well. Manycam isn't detected by any app as a valid video source. iGlasses and Camtwist are but suffer from massive fps drops. We might have to wait for official updates from the developers.

I really hope iGlasses receives an update very soon. Since there's no other options.
