So this has been going on for a week and I think it's the PMU, but I just want someone else's opinion...
My iBook G4 will switch back and forth from showing that it's charging to showing that it's calculating. Doesn't matter what percentage it's at, it will just switch back and forth. It will still charge, but it seems that it can't decide what it wants to tell me. I think that this is a sign of my PMU beginning to burn out on me.
Also, there are times when I'll open the screen and the computer will wake from sleep but not show me the prompt to enter in my password. I think that this is a software issue more then a hardware issue as I've had it happen before, but it's just happening with more frequency. Might be something I have installed for all I know.
EDIT: Out of foolishness, I tried a different power strip and it's working. Damn power strip isn't working right...
