Has anyone tried this ASRock Ultra Quad M.2 NVMe adapter?

Thanks for the info. Might be OK for a Hackintosh . . .. .

It's odd that no one seems to have come up with a PCIe 2 NVMe blade x "M type NGFF " adapter.

There are a few that offer 1 x M & 1 x B type with a SATA cable socket. . Ainex makes one.

hi sorry for if I'm late for the party but what they told you about bifurcation is true
however there are other cards out there that come with a PLX chip that doesn't requires a board with bifurcation support
because the card already comes with the chip
the downside is that those cards are a bit more expensive than the cards that doesn't come with the chip
also most of those cards are compatible with Mac OS and/or hackintosh

I have 2 SSD7102 with 8 Samsung 970 Pro
each card with 4 drives
those card are bootable in Mac OS and windows and they come with the PLX chip
I have a 44 lane i9 CPU so I run both cards at 16X for maximum speed

yes I have a hackintosh

make sure to watch the video
