My wireless keyboard is fully charged but keeps disconnecting. It's worked fine for years and I'm not aware of any changes that may have caused this problem.

I'll be working along and suddenly the keyboard will disconnect. Within a few seconds it reconnects, but this has been happening for the last two days and I'm hoping it doesn't augur something more serious down the road.

I've tried shutting it off and restarting it; the problem persists. Batteries are at 100%. I haven't changed anything about my setup.

I'm using a late-2013 27" iMac with 32GB RAM running OSX 10.13.5. (Yes, I tried updating to Mojave. Let's not go there.)

Thanks in advance.

My advice and my opinion only:
Find a WIRED USB keyboard you like, and use that instead.

No more of the problems one encounters with "wireless" keyboards.
Makes living with "the wire" much more enjoyable.
