IINA software audio speed problem

I have IINA 1.3.3. Build 138.

The audio playback for speech is currently not in normal speed.
Instead, the playback is slowed down to where the speech sounds slurred and not listenable.

Thanks for a tip on how to adjust the IINA software back to normal speed.
It would also be helpful to know why the audio speed suddenly changed from normal to slow speed.

In the IINA app, try:
Audio --> Reset Audio Delay

Be aware that -some- videos might have audio tracks that are "off" (not in sync) with the video. I've run into that myself.

In that case, IINA will permit you to advance or delay the audio in relation to the video.

"Shift - (" will add a half-second of delay (you can press that key combo more than once to increase the delay)

"Shift - )" will remove a half-second of delay (or in other words, it will "advance" the audio).

I can recall at least one video I was watching where the audio would keep going "out of synch" every now and then, and I had to use on of the above key combos to keep "forcing it back into synch" ...

In my case, I'm just listening to audio speech only (no video).

Unfortunately, the Audio > Reset Audio Delay and Audio Delay +- options have no effect in my case.
It's only when I reinstalled the software that the audio speed was corrected back to normal.

The bigger question is why the audio speed goes out of sync with audio only files (no video).
My best guess is that it's a technical bug in the software.

It's not audio delay, it's Playback speed - Reset speed.

Reset speed option does not work for IINA 1.3.3. Build 138 in my experience.

Thanks, I was using the audio delay and reset options in the Audio drop-down menu as opposed to the Playback menu.

To prevent accidental modification of speed settings, you can go into IINA’s settings – Key Bindings – duplicate the IINA Default configuration – search for speed and remove the shortcuts.
