This application, iKeepass, was submitted to Apple almost a year ago and has gotten rejection after rejection for documentation problems.

The fed up developer has finally submitted a video instruction to Apple on how to use his app.

This is very frustrating, seeing as iKeepass is a tremendously useful application that is already available for Mac and PC (along with other smart phones, etc). The application lets you store all of your passwords, etc, with strong encryption.

Omg... I've been waiting for iKeePass to be released. Kind of bummed that I purchased 1Password Pro and I don't have a mac. Although I soon will have one, I wanted one to be able to sync with all of my platforms (macbook, windows pc, iPhone & BlackBerry).

Thanks for the heads up, hopefully it gets approved soon. I was actually wondering why KeePass hadn't released one yet for the iPhone.

I like Keepass. 1password is no good as I dont use a Mac.

Damn whats wrong with you Apple.. approve it now. :apple:

If you follow the link to the blog post there is a feedback link to Apple. Please complain to them via the feed back link.

The more people that complain the more likely that they will wake up and approve this.

P.S., this app looks great from the screenshots that have been posted!

This could work. I had a similar issue where a simple update to my app was rejected for reasons that had nothing to do with the update. I emailed text after text addressing their concerns. Finally, I created a video where I talked into the camera and recorded screens showing what they were concerned about, sent them a link to the video, and the update was approved. Sometimes it's easier to watch than read.

Unfortunately the application author has stopped replying on his blog about the project, so it looks like it's dead.

While I can understand major frustration at Apple for being thick headed about the approval process, it is unfortunate that millions of users will be denied the application because the developer has given up on it.

Yup, been down for days. Either the application is being approved soon, or (more likely) he is pulling the plug on it out of frustration.

I sure hope that it is getting approved, I am aching sore waiting for this release.

I think it's been rejected because it has ASS in the name. I KEEP ASS

:D

Okay, I'm a little frustrated because I just got another form email that one of my apps is still under review (actually several, and it's been months)

Just to let folks know....I didn't see this posted anywhere here after a quick serach...iKeepass is now in the app store.

It's 99 cents and the early reveiws aren't too great. If you go to the developer's site it seems like Apple approved an early version of the app, not the latest submission (that's what I gathered reading some of the comments)..it seems like the author is willing to keep updating to solve some of the issues, and it is supposedly open source so others can help make it better.

I love Keepass on my Mac....hopefully the iphone version gets better after a few updates.

Yes, it is published, but it's a quite old version from July/August I believe.

Needs a lot of work apparently. I have purchased it to show support for the development but have not installed or tested it and don't plan to until it gets its first update.
