We are happy to announce the release of our latest iPhone app: an interactive virtual lava lamp. It is a scaled-down version of the lava lamp demo that was shown at SIGGRAPH and TED by Jeff Han on his Perceptive Pixel FTIR display wall.

The app store link is:

http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=298849096&mt=8

The product home page is at:

There is also a YouTube video of the app in action at:

We hope you like!

Good for you. I just assume if your promoting something, you might want to give all the information up front so we dont have to click all around. Stupid me.

This is just to let people know about the app, and if they like it, they can click on the links and get more info. If we were to post the price here, if we were to change it, it would be wrong in all the forum posts, and people would get upset. And yes, it is currently 99c.

Posts can always be edited; I think the point is that people prefer 'full disclosure' right off the bat. ;)

Anyway, good luck!

Haha, give the guy a break. Awesome app, I bought the other lava app that was just video of a lava lamp, but def gonna pick this up. Other colors would be cool as well.

This thread sort of got buried, but this app is mesmerizing. I'm still kind of amazed that they were able to produce such an accurate fluid simulation on the iPod/iPhone, and they've said they're going to be updating with new colors and other goodies, so there's that to look forward to.

Well done, guys. Keep it up.

Pay the extra $1.00 and get the LavaGlo. The aforementioned app looks a little cartoonish for my taste. Just my opinion, yo.
