I know there are threads like this( notice how I say like ) ; but those just don't fulfill my needs

Even though I've already jailbroken my iPhone on 1.1.4 ZiPhone, I am in need of change, plus my youtube is currently not working.

Either I restore than use ZiPhone ( the only reason I would do this is because of his updates.) Oh and does anyone know the major fixes for ZiPhone's new updates.

OR

I try out this new iLiberty+ thing that everyones been talking about.
( Does anyone also know if this does or doesn't give youtube issues)

Correct me if Im wrong, but I think every program, ZiPhone, iLiberty, iPlus all use the same jailbreaking method, but Im not completely sure...

yup, most as just GUI's for the same jailbreak script

Can someone explain the bootloader advantage of using iPlus over ZiPhone.

I jailbroke my OTB 1.1.3 upgraded to 1.1.4 a month ago using ZiPhone, but restored after a couple of days, because I couldn't get yahoo and youtube to work.

So even with the restore is the bootloader of my phone different then what it was when I first had it (OTB)??

I'm still a little confused as to why iLiberty/iPlus is better then Ziphone.

Anyone have any info on this? Thanks

From my research

From what I've seen/read/heard etc. the bootloader is changed while using Ziphone, but I had used ziphone to jailbreak mine and had to restore (something nasty happened and my screen went berserk) and when I check my bootloader now it seems to check with the rest of them that are unjailbroken and works fine. iliberty+ isn't out yet as they are working on the GUI but supposedly using their jailbreak method sends a fake bootloader so you get all the advantages of summerboard etc but without sacrificing the phone's integrity in any way shape or form. I've been hearing that Zibri stole the jailbreak method from Dev Team or whoever and posted it with a GUI sooner than the iPlus was able to do, which I'm assuming if its true is because they were working on the fakebootloader still. If any of this isn't true I'd love to hear a corrected version, like I said this is what I've been finding in my travels.

iLiberty is available to download and it does NOT change your bootloader. If you use Ziphone your bootloader will be downgraded even by just a simple jailbreak.

Okay I understand that the bootloader is downgraded, but is that a bad thing? Will that change mess with my phone when future updates are released?

I'm in the same boat as you are...

I'm trying to look at all the possible jailbreaking ways. So far iLiberty seems to be the best so far. I've read people saying once the bl is downgraded there is no coming back and others disagree. To play it safe I'm not gonna try Ziphone for that reason alone.
