I bought an iBook on the 3rd of this month. iLife '06 was released shortly afterwards. Is Apple doing a promotion where you get iLife '06 for around £14? I know they were doing it last year when I bought my eMac but I never got around to filling in the forms.

Thanks for any help.

You could always try http://www.apple.com/uk/ilife/uptodate and 'fix' the dates of the purchase so you become eligble. It only checks on the 'serial' number of your machine.

I ordered an ibook a day before the keynote speach. The ibook came with ilife 05 installed, however had a ilife 06 disk in the box

I went to the website listed. I entered my serial number and date of purchase (I changed it to the 10th of January) and it allowed me to add iLife '06 Up To Date to my basket. If I submit the order will it want a photocopy of my receipt?

If this the identical iLife which is on sale in the shops? Does it come in the proper box etc?

I up-to-dated last yeard with a replacement mac from AppleCare around 20th Jan. They DID require a proof of purchase.
