Resolved iLife apps not compatible with Lion??

I've recently noticed- some iLife apps are not working. The biggest concern is iPhoto - I've opened up iPhoto '11 (iLife 11) but it says:

However, and here's the catch - iDVD, iMovie, working. Just a couple apps are not working (I can't check every single one for compatibility). Is this a universal problem? How do I fix it? I have iLife '10 and '09 if that helps but I haven't checked if they work. Either way, I would like to use iLife '11 over either older versions... Thanks!

Im on the latest version of Lion and running iPhone 9.1.1 and it works fine

So I'm not seeing a problem here. Are you saying when you click software update nothing happens? What exactly is the problem?
I'm running 9.1.2 with no problems.

What exact version of iPhoto are you using?

I had the same error even on OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard when I installed iLife '11. It wouldn't run until I ran Software Update and downloaded the latest version of iPhoto...

I'm running iPhoto 9.1.2 on OS X 10.7 Lion with no issues.

Ok, I've checked the iPhoto version (version 9.0). So I decided, whatever, I'll update. However, my DOCK started to flash in and out (like when I killall Dock in Terminal) but automatically. It flashes every single second! I know it's the iLife apps because I uninstalled all of them in CleanMyMac app and did a reboot, and no dock flashing. But then, when I did a clean reinstall of my iLife '11, bam. Dock flashes. Right now I'm trying to ignore it, and am running Software Update - downloading updates right now. Here's my log in Console if it helps.

Ok, guys! Thanks for all your help but I finally fixed it by updating all iLife apps, and doing a reboot - ended the flashing dock problems and iPhoto works!

There were multiple iPhoto updates for the version in the iLife 11 suite.

It's similar to asking 'what version of OS X are you running'- even if OP already said Leopard it would be necessary to find out what specific version he's running (for example, 10.5.2).
