I just realized this last night. I bought the mac on Saturday at my local Apple Store. It might have been pre-installed, but since I did a clean install of Leopard it's gone. The only discs in my box were the Leopard drop-in DVD and the two 10.4 installation discs. I'm assuming there should be at least one more DVD and an instruction manual right?

Of course my Apple Store is closed until the weekend due to store renovations.

Will Apple Corporate doe anything about this or do I just wait for the Store to reopen?

Put the first 10.4 disc in and select bundled install apps only, it will then ask you to put in the scond dvd. then select from the list the apps you want installed, i.e ilife 08, iwork trial, etc etc.

iLife '08 is on the 2nd DVD

Doh!

I thought it would be on a separate disc since it wasn't on the Leopard disc. Also I couldn't identify anything in the readme file for the bundled app installer that even referred to iLife, but there were references to the other programs.

Thanks, I'll have to confirm tonight.

they're there. i just installed them last night. put in tiger disc 1 and choose install other apps (not the tiger install). you can then choose iPhoto, iDVD, iMovie, and iWeb.
don't reinstall iTunes, PhotoBooth, or FrontRow though. those are installed with leopard.
